Mesopotamia review

Directions: Under each complete the phrase, answer the question, fill in the blank, or define the definition.

Describe Geography of Mesopotamia:
North part of Mesopotamia is made up of hills and plains. The land is quite fertile due to the seasonal rain. Southern part is made up of barren plains.

Describe why people came to region and what they did?
Because the farming and rich land

Describe how city-states were organized and who their leaders were: they made there life off of farming with powerful associations. Leaders were ur-nammu, (king of ur)
